So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9

The Central United Methodist Church coordinated a disaster relief flood bucket drive throughout Wayne County to assist the areas most impacted by Hurricane Harvey.   A flood bucket is one of the simplest and most effective ways you can directly assist those in need.   Being a connection church, Central UMC is able to reach the affected areas in Texas quickly and efficiently.   Each flood bucket that was donated went to a family that was impacted by the Hurricane Harvey.    Flood buckets were transported to the Mission Central, a United Methodist relief center in Mechanicsburg, PA on 9/15/17 and then were transported to respective hubs in Texas. If you have any questions please call the church office at 570-253-3291.
